News » Two hurt in Outagamie Co. crash

Mar. 18, 2010
Outagamie County authorities plan to charge a 20-year-old De Pere man with driving drunk....after he was seriously hurt in a crash early this morning.

Cpt. Mike Jobe of the sheriff's department says Kent Cornell ran a stop sign at the corner of Van Boxtel Road and Highway 54 in the town of Oneida, and collided with a semi. He says Cornell was thrown from his car and was taken to a local hospital.

A 20-year-old Green Bay woman was a passenger in the car, and she was also hurt. The injuries aren't believed to be life-threatening. The driver of the semi wasn't hurt.
