News » Menasha attorney's law license suspended
Jan. 27, 2010 The state supreme court is suspending the law license of a Menasha attorney for a series of violations.
The high court issued a ruling today and it means Robert Smead can't practice law for 120 days.
The state's office of lawyer regulation investigated 25 different allegations of misconduct. He was accused of not responding to repeated calls from clients and not refunding them for work he didn't do.
Smead also didn't properly notify some clients that his law license was going to be temporarily suspended in the fall of 2007. |
