News » Kaukauna mayor seeks third term

Jan. 27, 2010
In less than two weeks, voters in Kaukauna will narrow the list of candidates for mayor.

Mayor Gene Rosin faces two challengers in the February 9 primary election, and the top two votegetters will square off in April.

Rosin says he's going to focus on adding jobs in the city. He has 16 years of experience as an alderman and four years as the mayor. Rosin says he has made tough decisions to save money for property taxpayers.

Rosin says the city also faces challenges with the DNR over the location of stormwater retention ponds.

Rosin will be on next month's ballot with business owner Brad Beckman and retiree Gary Vohs.
