Oshkosh tourism officials hope to see a lot of Lederhosen next fall, when they host an Oktoberfest celebration for the first time.
Jodi Vandermolen of the Oshkosh Convention and Visitors Bureau says they're planning the event for Oct. 1-3 at Riverside Park.
Vandermolen says Oshkosh is a fitting place to hold an authentic Oktoberfest because nearly half of its residents have German roots. She says they'll have German beer and music. |
