News » Rosenthal held on $50,000 bond

Jan. 27, 2010
The Chilton man suspected of killing his longtime girlfriend is held on $50,000 bond for allegedly hiding a corpse.

51-year-old Roger Rosenthal was in Manitowoc County court today for a bond hearing.  Prosecutors there plan to charge him with concealing a corpse charge by the end of the week.

Calumet County officials consider him a suspect in the murder of 39-year-old Michelle Jaeger.  The Chilton woman went missing on January 9, and her body was found on Sunday in a wooded area east of Brillion where Rosenthal hunts.

He already faces an obstruction charge in Calumet County for allegedly lying to officers who were investigating Jaeger's disappearance.
