A former state lawmaker wants to return to the Capitol.
Republican David Hutchison served three terms in the assembly and he says he's running for senate, in hopes of succeeding longtime senator Alan Lasee.
Hutchison left the legislature in 2000, and he used to own the "Air Canada" show. He lives in Dyckesville, and he says jobs and the economy are the biggest issues facing people in the first senate district.
Lasee is retiring, after spending 33 years in the senate. |
