A group that works to improve the trail system in the area is setting its goals for this year.
Fox Cities Greenways wants to help extend the Friendship Trail to High Cliff State Park...and work with the town of Harrison as officials develop their trail system. That's according to President Dave Muench.
Muench says eventually, they want to develop the "Paper Trail," which would loop around the Fox Cities and connect to trails in the various communities.
Muench says because local governments are dealing with tight budgets, Fox Cities Greenways has to play a larger role in funding trail projects. |
