News » Women sentenced in 'cheating lover' case
Feb. 2, 2010 The women accused of seeking revenge on a cheating lover at a Stockbridge motel will spend a year on probation.
The four women reached plea deals with prosecutors, and Calumet County judge Donald Poppy decided that if they stay out of trouble, they can avoid jail time.
Therese Ziemann of Menasha is accused of gluing a 37-year-old Fond du Lac man's penis to his stomach during the confrontation. If she violates her probation, she could spend 60 days in jail, after pleading no contest in December to misdemeanor charges of battery and disorderly conduct. She'll also have to conduct 100 hours of community service.
The other three women pleaded no contest to disorderly conduct charges, and Judge Poppy stayed a 30-day jail sentence for them. Wendy Sewell of Kaukauna, Michelle Belliveau of Neenah and the victim's estranged wife will have to conduct between 20 and 40 hours of community service. |
