News » Grand Chute officials to discuss deer herd
Feb. 2, 2010 A special hunting season is not one of the options that Grand Chute officials are considering to deal with nuisance deer.
The issue came up during a recent town meeting, when a homeowner complained that deer were eating her plants. Grand Chute administrator Jim March says the town board hasn't talked much about the issue yet.
March says a feeding ban is much more likely to be passed than a special hunt.
He says while some people consider the deer a nuisance, others like seeing wildlife in their yard. |
