News » Teen held on bond in connection with 'drive-by'
Feb. 11, 2010 A 17-year-old Appleton boy is in custody on a $20,000 bond, in connection with Monday night's drive-by shooting on the city's near northside.
Vincent Buckholtz was in Outagamie County court yesterday on a charge of reckless endangerment. Court commissioner Brian Figy set Buckholtz's bond. He says while no one was hurt, there were people in the duplex, and Buckholtz put them in harms way.
Court records say a teen fired at least two shots at an upstairs duplex in the 1000 block of N. Richmond Street in a gang-related incident.
Buckholtz's gang was reportedly feuding with people at the duplex, and both sides were supposed to meet at Pierce Park to fight. When the others didn't show, court records say Buckholtz drove the group to the duplex.
Two other teens are in custody, but their cases are in the juvenile court system. |
