News » Attorney from Neenah in running for WC judge

Feb. 11, 2010
A former Winnebago County prosecutor and current private attorney is one of five candidates on Tuesday's ballot for a spot on the Winnebago County bench.

Ed Jelinski is trying to succeed retiring Judge William Carver. He says judges have to protect the public from criminals, and protect them and their constitution rights from government overreach.

Jelinski says he believes he has the broadest range of experience of any candidate.

When voters head to the polls on Tuesday, they'll narrow the list of candidates from five to two. The top two vote-getters will move on to the April election.
