News » Kohl calls for health care cooperation

Feb. 19, 2010
President Obama is expected to renew his push for health care reform next week, and a Wisocnsin lawmaker says both sides of the aisle need to be involved.

U.S. Sen. Herb Kohl says bipartisan effort is an important part of passing a good reform bill.  He says even though Democrats and Republicans haven't been willing to work together so far, he's hopeful that will change.

Kohl says health care costs in the U.S. are twice as high as any other country, and that won't change without some kind of meaningful reform.
