News » Study: Wis. losing businesses
Feb. 19, 2010 A report from the Wisconsin Taxpayers Alliance shows Wisconsin has lost more than four percent of its business establishments over the past three years.
Even though the economy was a factor, researcher Dale Knapp says that's still not a good sign.
Knapp says other states in the Midwest added businesses since 2006, including Illinois, Iowa and Minnesota. He says Wisconsin lost nearly 7,000 businesses during that same time. |
