A longtime priest at an Appleton Catholic parish died late this morning at St. Elizabeth's Hospital.
Rev. Michael O'Rourke of St. Mary's Church was found unconscious in his driveway with a head injury, a week ago today. He had been in a coma.
O'Rourke had been the pastor at St. Mary's since 1986. He recently worked to keep Catholic Central elementary school open, after ACES/Xavier officials recommended closing it, as part of a consolidation plan. |
