News » Don't expect progress from Obama Summit
Feb. 25, 2010 President Obama and a bipartisan group of congressional leaders are meeting today to talk about health care reform.
The televised summit is meant to show that Democrats are willing to listen to Republican ideas.
Michael Kraft is the chair of UW-Green Bay's political science department. He says progress is possible, but not likely. UW-Fox Valley Political Science Professor George Waller doubts that much will come out of today's meeting.
Kraft and Waller say it's unfortunate that both sides can't seem to work together to improve the health care system. |
