News » Police: Pulaski stabbing was 'self-defense'

Aug. 31, 2010
In a case that police believe was an act of "self-defense," a 35-year-old stabbing victim is facing felony charges for a domestic fight in Pulaski.

Kenneth Forquer was stabbed several times in the upper chest by his girlfriend Sunday night during an incident in the 100 block of W. Pulaski Street.

Chief Randall Dunford says it started when a group was playing cards at an apartment, and Forquer had too much to drink.

He says during the attack on the 31-year-old woman, her 11-year-old son gave his mother a knife and she stabbed Forquer.

Pulaski police aren't recommending any criminal charges against the woman, but the Brown County district attorney's office still has to review the case.
