Unlocked garages and cars are becoming targets for burglars in Oshkosh.
Police officer Joe Nichols says someone rummaged through a number of cars and garages on the city's south and west sides last weekend. He says the burglar took loose change and a car. The car was found a short time later on Tammy Drive.
Nichols says the suspect is 16 or 17-years-old, and white. He was wearing a white shirt and jeans.
Nichols says people need to take common sense safety precautions, like locking their doors. He says they should also take valuables out of their cars. |
