News » Dog involved in fatal attack being euthanized
Sept. 3, 2010 The dog that attacked and killed a four-year-old Dodge County girl last week, will be put down this weekend.
Sheriff Todd Nehls says they aren't forcing the owner to euthanize the five-year-old boxer. Nehls says they're not recommending criminal charges against the owner. He says the dog doesn't have a history of violence, but it was responsible Taylor Becker's death.
Nehls says the attack serves as a reminder that no matter how well-behaved they appear, animals are unpredictable. |
