The price of gas will hit the three dollar a gallon mark before long.
That's the feeling of Craig Thompson, the head of the Transportation Development Association of Wisconsin. He says he hasn't seen any predictions that prices will reach the four dollar level, and he hopes that's not the case.
Thompson says higher crude oil prices are to blame, thanks to an increase in demand in China. He says refiners are switching to a more expensive summer blend of gas, and that's playing a role as well. |
