News » Hortonville students remember crash victim
Feb. 4, 2010 Students and staff at Hortonville high school are remembering a 17-year-old student who was killed in an accident Tuesday night.
Kylee Hyde died after she collided with another vehicle on Hwy. 15 in the town of Greenville.
Bob McIntosh is the high school principal, and he says Hyde was well-liked by students and staff. He says she was very outgoing and always seemed to be smiling.
McIntosh says counselors from Hortonville and neighboring districts are talking with students and teachers.
The crash happened around 10 p.m. near Julius Road, while Hyde was driving home from a basketball game. She played in Hortonville's game Tuesday night against Appleton West.
Outagamie County authorities say slippery road conditions were a factor in the crash. |
