News » Census office opens in Oshkosh

The local census office for Winnebago and Calumet counties officially opened its doors this morning.
A number of local leaders were on hand in Oshkosh for a ribbon cutting ceremony and an open house.
Office manager Don Zimmer says they continue to look for temporary workers to help complete the census. People have until April 1 to return a 10-question survey, and Zimmer says they'll start going door-to-door on May 1 to reach those who didn't turn one in.
The Oshkosh office is in the 1200 block of Oregon Street. It covers 12 counties in eastern Wisconsin, including Manitowoc and Fond du Lac.
Outagamie and Brown counties are covered by an office in Green Bay. |
