News » Separate weekend accidents claim 3 lives
Aug. 30, 2010 A one-vehicle crash in the town of Neenah left an Oshkosh man dead. The Winnebago County sheriff's department says 28-year-old Eric Zentner was killed in the accident at Highways CB and JJ early Sunday morning.
A 25-year-old Clintonville man died in a rollover accident early Sunday. The Shawano County sheriff's department says Joshua Mefferd missed a curve on Highway M in the town of Germania. They say Mefferd was thrown from the vehicle and pronounced dead at the scene. Investigators believe alcohol and speed may have been factors in the accident.
A crash between a dump truck and motorcycle in Manitowoc County Saturday claimed the life of a 35-year-old Denmark man. The state patrol says the driver of the dump truck pulled out in front of the motorcycle at the intersection of Highway T and Zander Road. Jon Yohanek was on the motorcycle, and he died at the scene. |
