News » Murder suspect pleads not guilty to obstruction

Mar. 8, 2010
The Chilton man who is accused of hiding the body of his long-time girlfriend is pleading not guilty to a different charge in Calumet County.

Roger Rosenthal is also charged with obstructing officers during the investigation into Michelle Jaeger's disappearance. Rosenthal entered the not guilty plea to the misdemeanor count this afternoon.

He will stand trial in Manitowoc County on a felony charge of concealing a corpse, after a landowner found Jaeger's body east of Brillion. The body was not far from the tree stand that Rosenthal used during the deer hunting season.

Prosecutors haven't filed formal murder charges against Rosenthal yet.
