There haven't been any polls in the primary race for governor between Republicans Scott Walker and Mark Neumann, but there is a sign that the race could be tightening.
One week before the primary, Walker is attacking Neumann in an ad that compares him to Democratic House Speaker Nancy Pelosi. The ad says that they both voted for a $9 billion transportation bill in 1998, when Neumann was a congressman.
Walker is considered the favorite in the race, and until now, he has mostly ignored Neumann. Most of Walker's ads have attacked Democrat in the race for governor, Milwaukee Mayor Tom Barrett. |
