News » More Hwy. 41 work starting today in Oshkosh

Sept. 7, 2010
Work on the latest piece to the puzzle of the Highway 41 expansion project in Oshkosh is going to begin today.

DOT spokesman Kris Schuller says they're building temporary lanes on the southbound side along a six-mile stretch between Witzel Avenue and Highway 26.

He says they need to shift the northbound traffic onto the temporary lanes next year, when they rebuild the northbound lanes and add a third lane.

Schuller says they're going to have some lane closures at night, through mid-November.
