News » Gambling hotline fielding post-Super Bowl calls
Feb. 8, 2010 The Indianapolis Colts weren't the only losers last night.
Rose Gruber of the Wisconsin Council on Problem Gambling says there is help available for people who are out a lot of money. She says sometimes it can be a life or death situation.
Gruber says betting on sporting events like the Super Bowl isn't a problem for most people, but it can lead to crushing problems for gambling addicts. The Green Bay-based group runs a hotline for addicts, as well as family members and friends. |
