News » Unused bonds could create jobs
Feb. 5, 2010 Unused bonds from the federal stimulus package could spur job growth in Wisconsin.
Governor Doyle signed a bill today that lets the state tap into those funds to help businesses expand, and create new jobs.
The governor signed the measure at a Wisconsin Rapids business that makes blades for wind turbines.
Doyle says they'll get some of the money to help pay for a new manufacturing plant that will create 600 new jobs. |
