Appleton’s first riverfront hotel hosted its grand opening yesterday.
The Courtyard by Marriott is a part of the RiverHeath development below the College Avenue bridge over the Fox River.
Owner Mark Geall says the project has been years in the making.
Geall says Appleton is a great location for hotels. He says businesses bring people in during the week, and events like Packers games and EAA AirVenture should keep them busy year-round.
