A military truck from the Oshkosh Corporation is the Coolest Thing Made in Wisconsin.
The Joint Light Tactical Vehicle won an online contest with that name, hosted by Wisconsin Manufacturers and Commerce. The JLTV was one of four finalists, and two others were products from companies in the region.
Oshkosh Corporation spokeswoman Katie Hoxtell says they worked to spread the word about the voting. She says they put it out on social media, and workers did a great job of sharing it with their family and friends. She says they also got a billboard along I-41.
The Ariens Company in Brillion was a finalist for its Sno-Thro. Mercury Marine in Fond du Lac also made it, with its joystick piloting system.
