A 20-year-old woman reached a plea deal, after she was charged with killing her friend in a drunk driving crash.
Savannah Dumas of Green Bay entered a no contest plea in Brown County court this afternoon to a charge of homicide by driving drunk. Twenty-one-year-old Megan Frehse of Green Bay was killed in a crash on Lakeview Drive in Suamico, in April.
Prosecutors say Dumas lost control on a curve, and the car rolled over. Freshe died at the scene. A 23-year-old woman was also in the car, and her injuries were not life-threatening.
Prosecutors say they were out drinking before the crash.
Dumas will be sentenced in January of next year.
