It’s not clear what affect a $20 million fuel terminal expansion in Waupun will have on gas prices in the Fox Valley.
But the head of the Wisconsin Petroleum Council says it’s a positive step. Erin Roth says Flint Hill Resources will help fill the gap that was created when a pipeline from Green Bay to Milwaukee was shut down last year. He says that was a major artery to move fuel.
Roth says there was a short-term price jump in gas in the Fox Valley and parts of northeast Wisconsin, when the pipeline closed. But he says now, prices are comparable to the rest of the state.
