One of the Democrats in the race for governor wants to cut tuition at the two-year UW System schools by 50 percent.
That would include UW-Fox Valley.
State Superintendent of Schools Tony Evers released his proposal today. He says it would cost less than $20 million a year, and make college more accessible.
Right now, tuition at the two-year schools is $4,750 a year.
