Northeast Wisconsin’s median price of homes rose to $150,000.
That’s a four-point-four percent increase from last year.
Nicole Lemke is with the Appleton Housing Authority. She says there is not a lot of housing stock at any price level.
Lemke says the $150,000 median price is close to what the Department of Housing and Urban Development set for the area. HUD gave Calumet county a $170,000 median, and Outagamie county $152,000.
She says in her experience, people are sticking to homes in the 80 to $120,000 range.
