Work on two development projects in Hortonville is scheduled to start next spring.
Village Administrator Diane Wessel says one is a strip mall on the east side, between Gilbert’s Sentry Foods and Wolf River Community Bank. She says some of the spots in the East Village Retail Center will already be filled by the time construction starts next spring.
The second development is apartments on the west side of the village, by Charlie’s Drive-In.
Wessel says they’ll be a mix of cottage-style and townhomes. She says they’ll be side-by-sides, in one or two-story buildings. She says 85 percent will be considered affordable units.
