Today is the 14th annual Thrivent Financial match day with the Salvation Army.
Thrivent pledged to match up to $25,000 for any donations into red kettles around the Fox Cities.
Robb Waugus is the Salvation Army Development Director. He says Thrivent has helped to raise over $3 million over the years.
Last year Thrivent’s matching money helped to raise over $88,000 in one day.
There are nine other match days throughout December.
This is also the 100th year of bell ringing in the Appleton area.
