A state appeals court ruled against a woman who thought her sentence for purse snatching in the Green Bay area was too harsh.
Twenty-eight-year-old Actavia Price was charged of stealing a purse from the Oneida Casino, after pepper spraying a woman. She was also convicted of stealing a judicial assistant’s purse from the Brown County courthouse, while she was out on bail in the casino case.
Price thought her 5-1/2 year sentence was excessive. The appeals court said her behavior was dangerous, and the sentence was less than the maximum.
