A replica basketball court that the Milwaukee Bucks had made for a special game will be in Oshkosh for a couple of events.
The floor, with the colorful design from the MECCA, was installed today at Menominee Nation Arena.
Deb Allison-Aasby is the interim general manager for the Wisconsin Herd. She says the floor is very colorful, and the nostalgia is incredible.
The Bucks used the court for a special 50th anniversary game at the MECCA earlier this season.
Allison-Aasby says the UW-Oshkosh women’s basketball team play on the court Saturday afternoon, and the Harlem Globetrotters will be on it New Year’s Day.
It will be removed January 3, but she hopes they can bring it back for other special events.
