Local tourism leaders will continue working to bring big events to the new Fox Cities Exhibition Center in downtown Appleton, and now they can show off the finished product.
Pam Seidl is the executive director of the Fox Cities Convention and Visitors Bureau. She says they took a group on a tour this morning. She says they’ve heard a lot of great feedback from other groups that they’ve taken through the building.
Pierce Manufacturing will hold the first major event there later this month. The Governor’s Conference on Tourism is coming to the facility in March.
The economic impact of the expo center is projected to be $6.5 million a year.
