The Forest Junction fire chief says an auto repair shop is a total loss, after it went up in flames early this morning.
Crews were called to Legacy Automotive, along Highway 10 in Brillion, around 3:15 a.m.
Chief Carl Weber says they were able to save some equipment. But he says two vehicles belonging to customers were destroyed. He says they had to use a backhoe to open up the building, because it wasn’t safe for firefighters to go inside.
Six neighboring fire departments were called in to help, and it took crews about a hour to get the fire under control.
A portion of Highway 10 was closed for several hours while crews worked.
The cause is under investigation.
