A cruise ship will make a stop in Green Bay this summer.
Green Bay and Sturgeon Bay are ports of call for a 10-day cruise from Milwaukee to Windsor, Ontario.
Dean Haen is the Brown County Port director. He says if it goes well it could become a regular thing. He says the Victory will visit in July and August and next year eight cruise lines could use the port.
The ships will dock in Leicht Park. Haen says the dock needs to be repaired so it’s safe and suitable.
The ships are an average of 400 feet in length and can carry 400 passengers. The cruise costs about $6,000 per person.
