A Green Bay woman is facing multiple charges on accusations that she beat her three kids.
Police say they went to the home of 42-year-old Kim Fruin last Friday after her children’s pastor reported the abuse. Prosecutors say Fruin used belts and sticks to punish them. They say the “sticks” were items like wooden boards and metal rods.
Green Bay Lieutenant Rick Belanger says it’s a disturbing case. He says it’s concerning that a mom would do this to her kids.
Prosecutors say when police showed up Fruin refused to let them see the children. They say she pushed the kids out of the back door and told them to run to their dad’s house.
The kids are eight, 10 and 12, and they were taken to a hospital. Police say they’re now living with their father.
Prosecutors charged Fruin with repeated physical abuse and child neglect.
