A former JV boys soccer coach at Oshkosh West High School is going to prison for six years.
Winnebago County prosecutors say 25-year-old Fredrick Baier had inappropriate contact with three girls, between 14 and 16 years old, in 2016. They say he knew them through the soccer program.
He pleaded no contest in January to charges of sexual assault of a student by school staff, and causing a child to view sexual activity.
Prosecutors say Baier forced a 16-year-old girl to have sexual contact with him at a party. They say he also used a phone app to send inappropriate messages to two of the girls.
They say Baier will spend another six years on probation, after he’s released.
