A young girl will give her birthday presents to kids in the emergency room at ThedaCare’s Neenah hospital.
Ella Bast of Combined Locks is turning five, and she’s having a birthday party tomorrow. She’s asking her friends to bring a gift to donate. Her mom, Tracey Bast says their two-year-old daughter, Avery, had to go to the emergency room last December, and she left with a new sippy cup. She says that caught Ella’s attention.
Tracey says they were driving around one day, and Ella told her she wanted to give any presents away. She says Ella came up with the idea on her own.
Tracey’s 10-year-old daughter Riley donated her Christmas gifts to a classmate in need, and Tracey says that also had an impact on Ella.
