Governor Walker signed a bill that will create a $6.8 million ad campaign to try to bring young workers to the state.
It will target millennials in the Twin Cities and Detroit. It will also focus on veterans and highlight the programs Wisconsin has for them.
Critics say it doesn’t address the issue of why younger people are leaving the state. The unemployment rate is at an all-time low and more people are needed to fill positions.
The bill was one of 93 the governor signed in Madison today.
