Governor Walker is putting a $100 per-child tax credit, and back-to-school sales tax holiday in place.
He signed his proposals into law today.
People will be able to start applying for the tax credit on May 15. A child had to be under 18 for all of last year, in order for parents to qualify.
Walker says the state will release more details on the signup soon.
Walker used his veto pen to extend the sales tax holiday, beyond the first weekend in August. It will now run from August 1-5.
