Winnebago County Sheriff’s deputies positively identified the two bodies found in a fire at a home in the town of Clayton last week.
Twenty-seven-year-old Ashley Mielke of Appleton, and 36-year-old Jeremy Wallenfang of Neenah died.
Deputies were called to a home in the 3300 block of Breezewood Lane last Tuesday for reports of gunshots, and a house on fire. Investigators initially thought Wallenfang was on the run, and they called him a person of interest.
They say they haven’t determined the cause of their deaths yet.
