Appleton police say they’re going to have more information about a police shooting on the east side last night.
Sgt. Dave Lund says the department will issue a written statement this afternoon.
He says officers shot and killed a man, after they were called to a house in the 100 block of S. Matthias Street, just north of College Avenue.
Lund says the man came outside with a shotgun and confronted them.
He says the officers weren’t hurt.
