Since the announced retirement of US Supreme Court Justice Anthony Kennedy, speculation has swirled. Professors and pundits are working overtime to speculate who will be named to replace the Court’s “swing vote.”
President Donald Trump has pledged to name a jurist from the list he put forward during the 2016 Presidential campaign, and promised to make his announcement on Monday, July 9 in order to have confirmation complete before the next Court session starts on the first Monday in October.
