A big cocaine bust in the Fond du Lac area ended with 16 people facing charges and more could still be arrested.
Attorney General Brad Schimel says the suspects sold over 125 pounds of cocaine worth over $9.5 million. He says they don’t see over 100 pounds of the drug. He says it’s an enormous amount.
Fond du Lac County District Attorney Eric Toney says the ring stretched from Fond du Lac to Milwaukee and Chicago. Local, state, and federal investigators worked on the case.
