Seven apartments and store fronts were damaged this weekend after a fire at a historical building in Menasha.
Crews were called to the Brin Building at about 5:30 Friday afternoon and they fought the flames into Saturday morning. Neenah-Menasha Fire Chief Kevin Kloehn says they’re looking into what caused it. He says they’re concerned about the structural integrity of the roof.
Kloehn says seven departments from the area responded. The Red Cross is helping four people who were displaced by the fire. No one was hurt.
The Brin Building was built in 1928 and used to be a theater.
